GENTRY

KOZUB

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Gentry Kozub is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 13 years of experience helping patients regain strength, confidence, and independence through movement. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2013.

Gentry began her career in acute oncology care, where she gained valuable experience caring for patients through some of the most challenging stages of their treatment and recovery. She later transitioned into orthopedic and home health practice, working with patients across a wide range of diagnoses, abilities, and stages of recovery. These experiences shaped her belief that physical therapy is about more than treating an injury or condition—it is about helping people discover what they are capable of and empowering them to take an active role in their own story.

Gentry has always felt at home around the water. Long before becoming a physical therapist, she was a competitive swimmer, lifeguard, and swim lesson instructor. Her lifelong connection to the water ultimately led her to aquatic therapy, where she loves combining her clinical experience with something she has always enjoyed.

Gentry lives in Smyrna, Georgia, with her husband and their three boys. When she isn’t working, you’ll most likely find her keeping up with her family, spending time around the pool, or enjoying the organized chaos that comes with raising three little boys.
