Cheri graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She attended the Physical Therapy school at the University of North Florida, graduating in 1994. She has worked in all settings including acute, rehab, sub-acute, outpatient, and home health. Being a Florida girl, aquatic therapy is her favorite.

Cheri is married to her husband, Mike. Together they have two very energetic boys, Jack and Caleb.
