Harriet is the owner of Integrated Therapy, LLC. She has been involved in the aquatic physical therapy industry since 1991. She attended Saint Mary’s College in Raleigh, N.C. and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, she completed the physical therapist assistant program at Gwinnett Technical Institute and she studied aquatic physical therapy techniques in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland. Harriet earned her recognition of advanced proficiency for the physical therapist assistant in musculoskeletal physical therapy. She worked for seven years at the Shepherd Spinal Center. Harriet presents aquatic therapy seminars to healthcare providers, hospitals and fitness organizations with a focus on independence and function for patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses and chronic illnesses.
Harriet co-authored Aquatic Exercise Toolbox, which is published by Human Kinetics. She is an active member of the Aquatic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and served on their board for seven years. The Physical Therapy Association of Georgia awarded Harriet the “Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant” award in 2004. She was the recipient of the 2003 Fidelity award from the American Red Cross. Harriet was also honored with the 2005 “Women to Watch”; where she was honored by her Junior League peers. Currently, Harriet serves on the board for Peachtree Road United Methodist Church Pre-School and Paces Neighborhood. She previously served on the boards for the Junior League of Atlanta and the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum in Savannah, Georgia. She is also the owner of Aquatic Consultants of Georgia, Inc. Harriet is married with a son and daughter and lives in Buckhead.
Chef Glenn Butler studied at the Culinary Institute of America with Chef Ralph Varketta of Fort Lauderdale, FL. He has over 45 years of culinary experience. He was an instructor and dean at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Chef Butler has authored a cookbook, as well as owned his own restaurant and catering business. He has worked as a private chef for 15 years and is a certified working chef (CWC).
CEO, Capital Billing Services
James Irungu is the CEO and founder of Capital Billing Services, INC. CBS was founded in 2008 to help Providers streamline their Billing Services. James and CBS have worked with Integrated Therapy since 2014. “Integrated and CBS form a strong team and our core purpose is to help simplify Billing for the patients”. Ablavi was born in Togo, West Africa and resides in Lithonia, GA. She graduated from Herzing University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Ablavi is currently an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. She was promoted to Office Manager, where she manages Integrated Therapy and Aquatic Consultants of GA. American Red Cross swimming lessons. Her hobbies include swimming, reading, and having fun with family and friends.
Assistant Office Manager
Ashley Owens is a native of Georgia. She attended Georgia Perimeter College of Georgia State University where she majored in Pre-Nursing and then changed to Health Science. While in school she worked for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite for four years as a Nutrition & Formula Technician. Her hobbies are organizing, traveling and reading. She loves being in a positive environment and meeting new people.
Taj Omari was born in Atlanta, Ga and was raised in Decatur, Ga. Taj joined the South Dekalb YMCA swim team and remained apart of the team until she was 15. She was then certified as a Lifeguard and worked at South Dekalb YMCA for as a lifeguard and swim instructor 6 years. Taj graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and Special Education. She is currently in school to obtain her Master degree. During her sophomore year, she was certified as a lifeguard instructor and was hired as a Safety class Instructor at the Georgia State Recreation Center. Taj's dream is to open her own aquatic facility offering swim lessons to special needs children. Her love for swimming and teaching fuels her desire to be the best swim instructor she can be!
Heather has experience in the medical field from her previous career as a registered dietitian. She is excited about using her medical knowledge along with her love of meeting and new people and sharing information with them as a marketing assistant with Integrated Therapy. Originally from New England, she has lived in Georgia since 1998 and considers it home. In her free time, Heather likes to read, hike, take trips to the beach, and spend time with her husband, three teenage girls and their dog.
Margie has been a registered nurse for over 38 years working with an orthopedic spine surgeon for the last 20 years before retiring from nursing in 2017. She has lived in the Atlanta area for over 24 years. Margie and her husband have been married for over 46 years and have two daughters and one grandson.
Kathy was born in Fort Collins, Colorado lived several years in Hawaii and attended high school in South Georgia, being in an Air Force family. She went to nursing school at Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and worked there on an orthopedic floor for several years. The last 20 years of her nursing career, she worked for a spine surgeon at Resurgens Orthopedics. Kathy enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Stacy is a native of Valdosta, Georgia and a graduate of the University of Georgia. She has experience as a Congressional staffer in Washington, DC and a legal recruiter in Atlanta, Georgia. She currently resides in Athens with her husband Carey and her children Bo, 13 and Hank, 12. She enjoys volunteering at her church, attending UGA sporting events, and spending time on St. Simons Island. Stacy has seen the benefits of aquatic therapy for her parents and enjoys letting Athens doctors and residents know about Integrated Therapy.
Carolyn Adams is a graduate from Greensboro College in North Carolina and is a retired Educator. She was the recipient of the 1998 - 1999 Middlesex Teacher of the Year award.
She served on the Moorhead Scholarship Selection Committee, Chairperson of the Wellness Committee, and Board Member of the Harold Cooley Library. Carolyn is a past member of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and the Nashville United Methodist Church
Carolyn’s belief in Integrated Therapy runs deep and personal. After painful foot surgery and a recent heart attack, she has been able to return to an active pain-free lifestyle with no medications! She can attest to the quality of care and concern each therapist has for their patients. Carolyn benefited so much from aquatic physical therapy that she decided to join the Integrated Therapy marketing team to be able to help others. She is married with two daughters and three grandchildren. During her free time, you can find her playing bridge with her girl friends and shagging at the beach with her husband, Frank.
Karen grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked in marketing roles in the Raleigh area for over twenty years, where she lives with her husband, two children and two dogs. When not working, Karen enjoys volunteering, walking, traveling and rooting for the Tar Heels.
My husband, Charles and I have been in the Raleigh area for over 20 years. We stay very busy juggling our children’s schedules and spending time with family. We also love going to the mountains and beach.
I graduated from Saint Mary’s College and also obtained a BA degree at NC State University. After graduating from college I got into sales and was a sales representative for ten years. During that time I gained lots of marketing experience. After my children were born I became a preschool teacher and director.
